Church Relations Staff
Rev. Angela Kaufman, Minister to the University and Church Relations Officer
As chaplain, her duties include providing spiritual, pastoral and ethical leadership and care for the TCU community, directing the programs, services and staff of the Office of Religious & Spiritual Life, the Office of Church Relations, and Robert Carr Chapel. As the liaison between the university and the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), Rev. Kaufman represents the university on denominational matters and oversees programs and resources to nurture and strengthen ties between the University and the Church. Prior to TCU, she served at DePaul University, received her bachelors from TCU and her Master of Divinity from the University of Chicago. She is ordained by the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) and her primary research interests are around young adult faith development, the role of spirituality in resilience and mental health as well as the study of American religious traditions.
Rev. Lea McCracken, Associate Chaplain for Disciples and Church Relations
In these roles, Lea focuses on TCU’s covenant with the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). As Disciples Campus Minister, she is the pastoral presence to Disciples students, faculty, and staff, offering leadership, resources, and programming for this constituency. And, as Church Relations Coordinator, she assists Rev. Kaufman in relational efforts to nurture the ties between TCU and the Disciples of Christ. This role includes connecting our TCU students with area congregations, communicating with our Disciples alumna/e, and serving as the presence of TCU to the denomination. Lea is ordained by the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) and, prior to TCU, she spent over ten years in congregational ministry and chaplaincy. She is an alumna of the Religion Department at TCU and earned her Master of Divinity from Vanderbilt University.
Ms. Cindy Rodriguez, Church Relations Administrative Assistant
Cindy is a life-long Ft Worth resident with a wonderful husband, three grand kids. Cindy is a constant volunteer in the community and enjoys reading, Rangers games and sewing. Cindy is responsible, thankfully, for the day to day operations of the office and is the friendly welcoming face who greets you when you visit us in Jarvis Hall.
