Student Affairs is suggesting resources to help students in the transition to a virtual experience including updates from Academic Advising, Information Technology, Career Center, Counseling Center, Campus-Life Dean’s Office and many more departments that are here to support, encourage academic success, reduce social isolation and create connections.
The Office of Church Relations provides leadership and support for the ongoing relationship between the University and the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). The office works to support the University’s covenant with the Disciples of Christ denomination, including its congregations and individual members. We coordinate communications, programs, and resources related to the church and its constituents, including work with students, faculty, staff, alumni, parents, congregations, and various denominational offices.
In early days, ties were built that have guided both the University and the denomination, and today still, as a church-related University, those ties are strong and vibrant. Because of this, we support an education that blends together faith, reason and intellectual curiosity on a campus where individuals from all religious traditions and spiritual paths make up our campus community.
